About Insynco

What is Insynco?

Insynco is a new and innovative medical practice designed for people wanting expert-level health guidance customized to fit their lifestyle. We provide highly personalized care via virtual or in-person consultations and provide access to in-app messaging and progress-tracking between sessions to help patients get the results they want, faster.

I already have a great family doctor. Would I also benefit from joining Insynco?

Absolutely! Insynco is for people who want to shift their level of health from average to optimal, in the most efficient way possible. We provide an unsurpassed level of care and attention, as well as convenient access to professional-grade supplements and advanced testing methods not available from your family doctor. Day by day we track your progress, train you to adopt healthier habits and motivate you to achieve new goals.

What is a naturopathic doctor?

Naturopathic doctors in Ontario are fully licensed, regulated medical professionals, held to similar standards of training as family doctors. NDs are required to complete a minimum of seven years of post-secondary education, including an undergraduate degree and 4-years at an accredited naturopathic institution. Along with thorough training in the clinical sciences and pharmacology, NDs are well-equipped with expertise in therapeutic nutrition, exercise science, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and behavior modification.

At Insynco, we use thorough assessment techniques and specialized testing to help identify specific body systems, lab values, nutritional deficiencies and daily habits that may be holding you back from feeling your best. We’ll help you restore health by treating the body as a complex network of interconnected systems that work synergistically when functioning in sync.

How is Insynco different than other medical practices?

Insynco is the only medical practice of its kind in Canada that combines technology with proactive care to provide you with ongoing access to your doctor even between sessions. This smart approach to health allows us to closely monitor your progress, providing feedback to keep you on track and improve your results at an accelerated speed. Not only does our unique model go above and beyond what others provide but also our forward-thinking pricing structure allows you to have high quality services at competitive rates.

How to Join & What to Expect

Can I start today?

To provide our patients with highly personalized care and attention, we only accept a limited number of new patients throughout the year. If you are interested in learning more about Insynco and potentially working with us, the first step is to book a free discovery call. Depending on when you contact us you may be able to start right away or we’ll reserve your spot for the next available opening.

Do I have to live in Toronto to use your services?

No, Insynco was designed to be fully accessible to Canadians across the country. No matter where you live, our virtual care services are available to you.

Can I consult with the doctor in-person?

Yes, we conveniently offer in-person services at our downtown clinic location. Our office is in Toronto at 30A Hazelton Avenue, close to the Bay subway station in Yorkville. Minimum time requirement for in-person consultations is 30-minutes.

How frequently would I need to consult with the doctor?

You have the flexibility to schedule consultations as often as you need. Depending on your goals, we’ll likely suggest more frequent consultations during the first few months as we’ll focus on introducing new concepts and developing routines that help lay the foundation for life-long wellness. Patients usually start with weekly or biweekly consultations and use the mobile app to stay in touch between sessions.

Can I exclusively use the app to communicate with the doctor?

No, in-app messaging is only used in conjunction with consultations for quick check-ins and to answer simple questions related to your Total Health Plan™. If a request is deemed to be too complex to respond via text message, you will be notified and it will be a topic to discuss during your next appointment.

How long is each consultation?

For new patients, we provide a thorough initial assessment that requires 60 minutes. Follow-up consultations (virtual or in-person) are typically 30 minutes in length.

Can I talk to the doctor while I’m on vacation or travelling out of the country?

Yes, this is the beauty of Insynco. Even with a busy work schedule or social life, you can stay connected with in-app messaging, photo sharing or launch a video call, all from the Insynco App.

What kind of results can I expect?

While each patient has unique goals and we provide support to meet those needs, in every case we work to renew health from the cellular level so the most common changes are seen in a few key areas: increased physical stamina and mental clarity, improved digestion, skin healing and rejuvenation, enhanced cardiovascular fitness, metabolism and ability to maintain a healthy weight.

How fast can I expect results?

Within the first month, you should begin to see significant changes in the way you look, think and feel, but Insynco is not about short-term fixes. Wellness is a life-long journey, and we’re here to give you the roadmap to help optimize your wellness for right now and for years to come.

What will I eat?

Our goal is to make deciding what to eat, the easiest part of your day. We are passionate about helping you understand exactly what your unique body needs to function better. Whether you want to lose fat and build muscle, or simply clean up your diet to enhance the way you look and feel, we’ll create a custom meal plan to help you reach your goals. Choosing the right foods starts with learning how to best combine macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fats), nutritional supplements, and ‘superfoods’ to give your body the building blocks for optimal health. Not only will we equip you with this knowledge, but we’ll continue to modify your meal plan as your needs evolve.

Testing & Supplements

What type of advanced testing do you offer?

We offer a variety of advanced testing options to help identify nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, cardiovascular risk factors, food sensitivity, digestive concerns, inflammation and much more. Based on your initial assessment, we may suggest specific tests that could include blood, saliva, skin, hair, urine or stool testing.

If you are a resident of Ontario and require bloodwork, we can provide lab requisition forms to visit a LifeLabs location. If you live outside of Ontario or work with us virtually, at-home collection kits for specialty tests can be shipped to you.

Do I have to do lab testing to use your services?

No, however if you have a particular condition or symptoms that require further investigation, we will suggest specific tests that would be highly beneficial for you. Advanced testing helps uncover underlying issues, often not detected by routine blood work. The more information we can gather on how your body responds to certain foods, which nutrients you may be lacking, or your level of risk for future disease, the more precise we can be in guiding you toward optimum health.

How do I get access to professional supplements?

Our patients have access to professional-grade supplements via our online supplement dispensary. All supplements prescribed are carefully selected from trusted manufactures and can be delivered to your home within 1-5 days.
