About Insynco

What is Insynco?

Insynco is an innovative naturopathic practice, uniquely designed to help you overcome your health challenges by combining naturopathic care, advance testing, and smart technology. Our modern, whole-body approach is designed for people who want to shift their level of health from average to optimal, in the most efficient way possible.

How do Insynco services differ from seeing a family doctor?

A family doctor generally address and treat the symptoms of a disease and use pharmaceutical therapies. At Insynco we treat patients with a whole-body approach by addressing the physical, environmental, lifestyle, attitudinal, and emotional aspects of health.

Insynco provides an unsurpassed level of care and attention, as well as convenient access to professional-grade supplements and advanced testing methods not available from your family doctor. We track your progress closely, train you to adopt healthier habits and motivate you to achieve new goals.

Some other differences include, longer appointments, your own unique TOTAL HEALTH PLAN™, and convenient video and phone consultation

What is a naturopathic doctor?

Naturopathic doctors in Ontario are fully licensed and regulated professionals held to similar standards of training as family doctors. NDs are required to complete a minimum of seven years of post-secondary education, including an undergraduate degree and 4-years at an accredited naturopathic institution. Along with thorough training in the clinical sciences and pharmacology, NDs are well-equipped with expertise in therapeutic nutrition, exercise science, herbal medicine, acupuncture, and behavior modification.

At Insynco, we use thorough assessment techniques and specialized testing to help identify specific body systems, lab values, nutritional deficiencies and daily habits that may be holding you back from feeling your best. We’ll help you restore health by treating the body as a complex network of interconnected systems that work synergistically when functioning in sync.

How is Insynco different than other naturopathic practices?

Insynco is a modern naturopathic practice that combines science, technology, and proactive care to give you everything you need to look, feel, and perform better at an accelerated rate.

This smart approach to healthcare allows us to closely monitor your progress, providing feedback to keep you on track and accelerate your results by providing support between sessions. Not only does our unique model go above and beyond what others provide, but also our forward-thinking pricing structure allows you to have high-quality services at competitive rates.

All naturopathic consultation fees are HST-exempt. Taxes only apply to advanced testing.

How to Join & What to Expect

Can I start right away?

To provide the highest standard of care and service to our clients, we limit the number of new patients accepted to a max of 5 per month. If you are interested in joining Insynco, the first step is to book a free discovery call. Depending on availability, you may be able to start right away or we’ll reserve your spot for the next available opening.

Do I have to live in Toronto to use your services?

No, Insynco was designed to be fully accessible to Canadians across the country. No matter where you live, our virtual care services are available to you.

Where is your clinic located?

We are conveniently located in downtown Toronto at 30A Hazelton Avenue, close to the Bay subway station in Yorkville.

How frequently would I need to consult with the doctor?

The frequency of consultations will depend on the severity of your symptoms as well as your particular health goals. Depending on your unique case, we’ll likely suggest more frequent consultations during the first few months as we’ll focus on introducing new concepts and developing the best routines to help lay the foundation for life-long wellness. Patients usually start with monthly consultations and stay in touch between sessions through emails.

How long is each consultation?

For new patients, we provide a thorough initial assessment that requires 60 minutes. Follow-up consultations are typically 30 minutes in length.

Can I talk to the doctor while I’m on vacation or travelling out of the country?

Yes, this is the beauty of Insynco. Even with a busy work schedule or social life, you can stay connected with in-app messaging, photo sharing or launch a video call, all from the Insynco app or online patient portal.

What kind of results can I expect?

While each patient has unique goals and we provide support to meet those needs, in every case we work to renew health from the cellular level so the most common changes are seen in a few key areas: increased physical stamina and mental clarity, improved digestion, skin healing and rejuvenation, enhanced cardiovascular fitness, metabolism and ability to maintain a healthy weight.

How fast can I expect results?

Within the first month, you should begin to see significant changes in the way you look, think and feel, but Insynco is not about short-term fixes. Wellness is a life-long journey, and we’re here to give you the roadmap to help optimize your wellness for right now and for years to come.

What will I eat?

Our goal is to make deciding what to eat, the easiest part of your day. We are passionate about helping you understand exactly what your unique body needs to function better. Whether you want to lose fat and build muscle, or simply clean up your diet to enhance the way you look and feel, we’ll create a custom meal plan to help you reach your goals. Choosing the right foods starts with learning how to best combine macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fats), nutritional supplements, and ‘superfoods’ to give your body the building blocks for optimal health. Not only will we equip you with this knowledge, but we’ll continue to modify your meal plan as your needs evolve.

Insynco App & Wearable Devices

What are the perks of using the Insynco app?

Our mobile app and online patient portal allow you to fast-track your results by staying connected between sessions. The doctor will be closely monitoring your progress and providing feedback to keep you on target. Patients have access to in-app messaging and sharing photos of meals for nutrition advice. Also by syncing the app to your Fitbit device, the doctor can efficiently monitor your daily activity, calories burned and sleep quality.

Which wearable devices do you integrate with?

The Insynco app currently integrates with all Fitbit devices, as well as the Fitbit Aria scale and iHealth Labs blood pressure cuff.

How secure is my health information?

Your personal information, medical records, and conversation history are encrypted and securely stored in Canadian data centers. You can be assured we only use software designed for regulated health professionals that complies with the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

Testing & Supplements

What type of advanced testing do you offer?

We offer a variety of advanced testing options to help identify nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, cardiovascular risk factors, food sensitivity, digestive concerns, inflammation and much more. Based on your initial assessment, we may suggest specific tests that could include blood, saliva, skin, hair, urine or stool testing.

If you are a resident of Ontario and require bloodwork, we can provide lab requisition forms to visit a LifeLabs location.

Do I have to do lab testing to use your services?

No, however, if you have a particular condition or symptoms that require further investigation, we may suggest specific tests that would be highly beneficial for you. In certain cases, advanced testing helps uncover underlying issues, often not detected by routine blood work. The more information we can gather on how your body responds to certain foods, which nutrients you may be lacking, or your level of risk for future disease, the more precise we can be in guiding you toward optimum health.

How do I get access to professional supplements?

Our patients have access to professional-grade supplements via our online supplement dispensary. All supplements prescribed are carefully selected from trusted manufactures and can be delivered to your home within 1-5 days.
